It is also an important reference book for lawyers, judges, law teachers, public administrators, and government officials.About the Author: Hamid Khan, Senior Advocate Hamid Khan is a Senior Advocate of the Supreme Court of Pakistan and is one of the founding partners of Cornelius, Lane and Mufti, a leading law firm in Pakistan. He is a former president of the Supreme Court Bar Association of Pakistan (2001-03) and the Lahore High Court Bar Association (1992-93). He studied law at the University of Punjab and University of Illinois, and has been practicing for more than forty years. He has regularly lectured on various legal subjects at the University of Punjab, the Civil Services Academy, Administrative Staff College, and the National Institute of Public Administration. He is an Ebert and DAAD Fellow, as well as a member of the Hague Academy of International Law. Hamid Khan is also the recipient of three prestigious awards: the Dorab Patel Award for Rule of Law (2002), the Madr-e-Millat Award (2003), and the Distinguished Graduate of the College of Law, University of Illinois (2006).
