Rosenfield's 1987 book, Instructional Consultation introduced a new model for consultation in the schools known as Instructional Consultation (IC). In this new book, the fundamental concepts and the basic structure of the IC model is updated and combined with related material on team collaboration. Two new chapters present information on 1) using IC with diverse populations and 2) forming and implementing IC teams. Chapter activities and a companion casebook enable students to develop the process skills described in the text.
