Edward VIII, Edward Albert Christian George Andrew Patrick David, born on 23rd June 1894, White Lodge, Richmond, Surrey, England was King of the United Kingdom and the Dominions of the British Empire, and Emperor of India, from 20th January 1936 until his abdication on 11th December that same year, following which he became the Duke of Windsor.
