Aftershock is a short collection of poetry written over the course of one year by a senior in high school. It looks at the aftermath of heartbreaking events and the changing nature of things as we come of age. It sees the ebb and flow of our grief, our acceptance, and our denial, as interconnected and inextricable. It is a lesson in uncertaintly and in healing. 100% of the profits made from this book will be donated to WEAVE, the primary provider of crisis intervention services for survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault in Sacramento County.
