This is a book of poetry, that celebrates the unique talents, gifts, intelligence and beauty of women of color all over the worldAbout the Author: I am Henry L Singletary author, poet, philospher and motivational speaker. I was born in Winston Salem N.C. one of five children to Sarah and Joseph Singletary. I have been studying the bible since the age of 10, and i began fasting at the age of 12. I was called in to ministry and preached my initial sermon at the age of 16. I joined the United States Marine Corps right after high school. I spent 4 at Camp Pendleton Ca years serving this great country of ours. After my time in the military I returned to North Carolina where I enrolled at North Carolina A&T State University in Greensboro.There I earned a BA in Political Science with a minor in Business Management. I am the President of Triangle Maintenance & Janitorial Service that provides industrial, residential and commercial janitorial and landscaping services through out the United States.
