Canada is considered a leader when it comes to LGBTQ rights, yet this is a fairly recent phenomenon - one that is largely due to the tireless work of disparate groups of LGBTQ activists. Queer Mobilizations examines the relationships between LGBTQ activists and local, provincial, and federal Canadian governments.
