Occurring at different times of the year according to different school schedules, this universal day is celebrated in a variety of ways. Through color photos and text at the Guided Reading level of M, the book discusses the many ways the day is celebrated, and uses the occasion to feature the number 100 in "Did You Know" vignettes throughout the book. Celebrating the 100th day of school not only is a way to look back at accomplishments but also to share in a day that is universal to all school children regardless of their culture. There are plenty of suggestions for ways to celebrate and set goals for the remainder of the year.
