Reed is professor of English and foreign languages at Lipscomb University and director of study abroad. She has written on Henry James, Honoré de Balzac, and memoirists of the French Revolution as well as on contemporary British novelists. She is currently working on two projects: one on James's ghostly narratives; the other on a text for American university students living, studying, and working in London.Peter G. Beidler is the Lucy G. Moses Professor of English at Lehigh University. He is the author of books and essays on subjects ranging from Henry James to Geoffrey Chaucer to Louise Erdrich to pedagogy. He is general editor of the series Manual of the Writings in English. He was named CASE National Professor of the Year in 1983, appointed Fulbright Professor of Sichaun University in China in 1987-88, and was Robert Foster Visiting Professor at Baylor University in 1995-96.
