MALAIKA is a collection of poems written with children in mind. It is about imagination and the beautiful, limitless world of the mind- especially the mind of the young (in body or at heart). The poems are of varying levels of simplicity, so they can be enjoyed by children of various ages, and by their minders too! They talk of life, and all the weird and wonderful themes that make it so colorful- from changing clouds in a perfect blue sky, to the sweet and sour swing of friendship. Maybe, it's its rhyme and rhythm, maybe it's just the euphonic elegance of its underlying meter, but a poem has a way of holding the truth in ways that never fail to touch the heart.
