DJ is an ambitious female who is starting a new life after recently getting out of the military and a long relationship. She has relocated to Hawaii to see what life has in store. While there, she is befriended by Amil and her wife, Tee who have been married for a few years and are battling the ups and downs of marriage issues such as infidelity and expanding their family. They want to be just as successful with their family life as they are in their careers. Then there is Chance, who is looking for love and her place in this world. In love, Chance wants what she wants when she wants it. She has to learn how to let things happen. It's not an easy task because she still hasn't completely dealt with a crazy ex-girlfriend who doesn't want to go away. Will Chance be able to get rid of her ex and find the love of her life?
