March 8, 1946 was a red letter day for Virginia. World War II heroes Winston Churchill and General Dwight Eisenhower visited Virginia. For Richmond photographer Frank Dementi it was also a red letter day, as Mr. Dementi was the only photographer to record this visit. This book uses newspaper accounts and personal recollections to help recreate this event.
