Peter realizes that in order to save his beloved, he must not only prove himself to their leader, but must face the Black Pearl, the cold-hearted madam in charge of the most violent brothel in the city.About the Author: Veteran nurse Timothy Sheard is a writer, publisher and union organizer with the National Writers Union, UAW Local 1981. After writing six mystery novels featuring hospital custodian-shop steward Lenny Moss, he launched Hard Ball Press, a publishing and book editing company dedicated to helping working class people write and publish their stories. Timothy believes that when workers write stories about their work and their lives, they combat the constant attacks from the wealthy One Percent, who degrade and demean unions and workers. Timothy is currently helping Certified Nurses Assistants from Nursing Homes organized by 1199NE write their stories. He is also working with hospital workers from 1199C in Philadelphia tell the history of their union, as well as worker-writers from around the country.
