The lives of the Granvilles and the Fitzroys become increasingly complex during the turbulent sixties and seventies. Ham Granville's attempt to protect his son Ricky from an unsuitable liaison with Odette Fitzroy has backfired. He is still fixated on Annabel and his presence brings more turmoil into the lives of the Granvilles.
