The French language is full of idioms. We love to create new idioms every day, and colors can be used to express everything! There are so many idioms and when working on this list I was surprised how much we use every day. I only picked 60% of the actual number of idioms that exist with colors. Because I wanted this list to be practical and useful for everyday spoken French, I selected the ones that I hear more often and I dropped the ones that are too formal.
