Indigenous Museology examines the emergence of indigenising museologies in New Zealand, Australia, the USA and Canada. As the first international comparative study of museums and indigenous people, the book produces new knowledge about indigenous ways of knowing, doing and being that are emerging from the intersection of museums, heritage and public history with native ontologies and epistemologies.
