This book is an offering of poetry. It is the author's search for understanding of the self, and expression of her reflections upon both the joys and the difficulties of life. She delves into the world of spirit, and consciousness after death. She also finds meaningful stories in the images around her, in the earth, it's people, human emotions, anger and fear, grief over loss, the "beyond," joy, love and desire. The author asks the question, "Who am I?" about both the world, and herself. Poetry is the vehicle she uses to communicate deep feelings, observing that most people have an inborn sense of rhythm about words. This gives her an appreciation of the tempo and pulse of language, and the poetry in every day speech. One of the poems explains that it has not always been easy for her to express herself, and she had to find the courage to speak out, to find her own individual voice among others in the world. Her poetry is a sharing of the stories and experiences of seventy years, as well as an admiration of the natural world she enjoys so much.
