When not working in the mortgage business, he enjoys traveling, visiting historical towns and museums, antique car shows, and playing computer games with his old friends. The first-time author, 60, has combined his historical knowledge with his computer-game savvy to craft a novel that prominently includes both elements. Currently unmarried, he has a son, Peter, and two grandsons, Hunter and Dylon. He resides in Lake Forest, California.
