He began using drugs and alcohol on a daily basis at the age of thirteen. Ken C. stumbled into the doors of A.A. at the age of twenty one after much drug and alcohol use. Ken C.'s journey to recovery included many years of struggle to shake his old way of thinking and tear loose of the dark world in which he grew up. Ken C. continued to seek a relationship with God even during his heaviest drug use. After finding A.A. and the 12 Steps he used his new found freedom to seek God in prayer and meditation, as well as, immersing himself in the literature of world religions. At the time of this publication Ken C. has been clean and sober for over 27 years and is happily enjoying watching his three daughters grow.
