Carmen studied under a Chef Cordon Bleu, where she learned the art of preparing exquisite meals and the knowledge to become an Executive Chef. Although born in Bogota, Colombia, Carmen has been a U.S. citizen for many years. She started preparing food for the diets of several Hollywood celebrities a few years after her arrival in the United States. At that time she specialized in macrobiotic diets, which aid in the process of rejuvenating the body and preserving psychophysical stability.
