This book contains stories of 69 weddings for which the author was a member of the bridal party. Weddings in which everything that could and did go wrong: wind, rain, flood, snow, no gown, no car, no church, no Groom, no ring, no reception hall, no food! There is also the story of one wedding which was called off within minutes of the start of the ceremony (the not knot).About the Author: Valerie Gawron has a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in psychology from the State University College at Buffalo, a Master of Arts (MA) also in psychology from the State University College at Geneseo, a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Engineering Psychology from the University of Illinois, and a Master of Science (MS) in Industrial Engineering and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) both from the State University of New York at Buffalo. She completed postdoctoral work at the New Mexico State University in Las Cruces and began work for Calspan directly following completion of the post-doctoral research. She remained at Calspan for 26 years until it was eventually acquired by General Dynamics. She is presently a senior principal multi-discipline systems engineer at the MITRE Corporation. Dr. Gawron has written over 330 publications including two books: Human Performance Workload, and Situational Awareness Measures Handbook (second edition, 2008) and 2001 Hearts - The Jane Gawron Story (2009).
