He has spent most of his free time on outdoor activities, bicycling (including a solo coast-to-coast ride), hiking up mountains and Scuba diving. He has made nearly 1,000 Scuba dives and wrote about his Scuba dives in his book, An Old Timer's Scuba Tales. He has written many books beginning with A Working Guide to Shell-and-Tube Heat Exchangers, McGraw-Hill, New York, 1990 and the books shown on his web page at www.baddyflicks.com.
