Based on our own teachers' teaching and tutoring experiences at Ho Math Chess Learning Centre, we have found that many pre-k or kindergarten math workbooks available in the bookstores do not seem to be suitable for those children who have encountered learning math problems due to their math disabilities or dyscalculia. This workbook is written to help children as young as 4 years old learn to count, write, and do simple additions or subtractions. We developed Frankho Pre-k and Kindergarten Math workbook by observing what difficulties our students have encountered at Ho Math Chess Learning Centre located in Vancouver, Canada and then created and revised it to tailor to their needs. Thus, this workbook will be particularly helpful to those who have encountered challenging in mastering number writing or counting since it is field-tested on children who have learning difficulties. This workbook can be used as a remediation workbook for those children who have math disabilities or dyscalculia.
