Use this book as a resource when filing complaints, speaking to HR, or reporting to upper-managers.About the Author: Pam Lutgen-Sandvik was born and raised in Anchorage, Alaska and moved to Arizona in 2000 where she earned her Ph.D. in organizational communication at Arizona State University. Prior to her tenure as a university professor, she worked as a social service organization administrator, first in the field of women's advocacy and then in outpatient substance abuse treatment. She accepted her first professor's position in 2005 at the University of New Mexico and subsequently moved to North Dakota State (NDSU) in 2013 to join the Department of Communication in Fargo. She continues to research, publish, and teach in the area of organizational communication at NDSU and serves as the Director of the NDSU Communication Research & Training Center. Dr. Lutgen-Sandvik is married, has two children, and lives in Moorhead, MN.
