Comprised of earlier work these poems deal with mostly a shifting landscape of society at continual conflict, within and without, and the absurdity that relates to it.About the Author: Born in Santa Monica, California, Robert Benefiel has lived in several places throughout the United States. He has worked many jobs from fishing dock operator to optician. His first love has always been art and writing, which he was introduced to through comic books and cartoons. By 12 he had developed a taste for Elliot, Cummings, Shakespeare & Dickenson only to later read contemporary authors while at the same time developing a love for music. His first published work was at 16 years old. He has several books of poetry including "After The First Shot", "Poetastard".
