Shot and killed while acquiring property in Buck Creek for the Logan Lake Condominiums, Junior's influential father insists on the Tampa PD sending help to the local sheriff, Roy Harper, in Buck Creek. Sheriff Roy's friend, former NYPD officer and now Atlanta Private Investigator Taylor McCann, is in Buck Creek on vacation to "do a little trout fishing." Thea Mikos is from the Greek community of Tarpon Springs, Florida. She had worked for the NYPD after graduation from the police academy in Forsythe, Georgia. She is currently a detective for the Tampa PD. Taylor and Thea had been in a relationship while in New York. Both had gone their separate ways when the relationship ended. Jefferson Comstock Junior's murder brought them back together. As the body count rises in the Tampa Bay area, PI Taylor McCann, his assistant David Hathaway, and Detective Thea Mikos, unravel the jig-saw puzzle of clues in both the Tampa Bay area and North Carolina.About the Author: J T Ringo (1949- ) was born and raised and still lives in Brooksville, FL. He graduated from Hernando High School in 1967 and attended Florida Presbyterian College (now Eckerd College) in St. Petersburg, FL after graduation. He is retired after 30 years with the US Postal Service and is married (41 years) to a retired English teacher. They have two adult children, three grandchildren, and a great-grandchild born May 12, 2012. J T has been writing off and on since college in the late 60's, but only seriously since 1986. His first novel was published in 1990 by Brandywine Books and is called The Broadcast Killer. Out of print now, it was not his best effort and a re-write may be in the works soon.
