Words are given power only by the people who use them. It is my intention to give power to the words I write and the sentences I piece together and by doing so, reveal life to readers in a way that it might never have otherwise been revealed. I want to use the powerful words that are at my disposal to give power back to the people who read them; I want them to see their world through a different lens, and think deeply about their impact upon the people around them.
