When a young factory worker spills an energy drink on a potato, the potato gains human-like facial features and a mind of his own. Upon realizing that his uncle Willis has been turned into french fries, he tries to destroy the factory where he had once been genetically modified. The owner of the destroyed factory devotes his life to frying the Potato.About the Author: Logan Emmert is twelve years old and in seventh grade. He lives in Pennsylvania with his two older brothers and parents. He enjoys television, movies, riding his bike, but most of all, writing. This book was written as an entry for a contest in which students are encouraged to write a novel over the course of one month. His brother, Ethan, helped him develop the idea of Mashed Potato Man.
