Jenny Katherine Luu uses vivid imagery and angelic rhythm to communicate universal human emotions, in the hopes that she can inspire others to see the beauty in the world. Through these poems, you will see a young lady search for her purpose in life, explore the human psyche, observe and question society, fall in love, fall out of love, fall in love with nature, and mentally dance with the poetic language.About the Author: Jenny Katherine Luu was born in snowy Illinois and raised in sunny California. She was first introduced to poetry in the fourth grade, but didn't take it on as a hobby until high school where she joined the Poetry Club. She continued her poetic craft at San Jose State University where she minored in Creative Writing. Through reading, writing and sharing poetry in the classroom, in the Poets and Writers Coalition on campus, and in online poetry forums, Jenny was able to develop her own poetic style. As a graphic design and photography major, Jenny learned to see the world through different "frames," many of these views were translated to her poetry in different forms of colorful language. When she isn't writing poetry, Jenny enjoys photography, hiking, arts and crafts, and reading manga. Prior to the release of Whisperings, Jenny Katherine Luu published Bittersweet Memories, a coming-of-age love story, in 2005. She plans to work on a new collection of poems that involves inspirational imagery in the next few years.
