A Weekend of Death When Sergeant Alex Wholeman gets sent to hospital, after rescuing eight year old Martin Norris from his burning home; he hears a strange story about Billy, a Teddy Boy in his early twenties. Billy was injured in a novel way, by a man in his local pub. Alex is concerned by the way, and the reason, that Billy was injured. The only man Alex knows with the same Modus Operandi is Albert Blunt. Blunt was sent to prison seven years previously; he should still be there. Before Blunt was taken down he made threats against people, including Alex and his wife, Martha. Blunt is the sort you need to take seriously! To complicate matters it starts to snow, and this snow storm will be the worst snow in fifteen years. Alex is promoted but will Alex live long enough to take up his new job? Not if Blunt gets his way! Right now he is doing whatever he wants, and the police seem powerless to stop him. Blunt plans to make this weekend, 'A Weekend of Death.'About the Author: Andrew Thomas James Lindfield, known as 'TJ' to his friends and family, is a writer who has only recently published any of his stories. He is 59 years (born in 1954) of age, and has always written stories since he was first at school. 'TJ' never published the stories for two reasons. One, he had no idea how to. Two, he has dyslexia and very few people could read his early handwritten stories. This was in part due to the dyslexia, but also due to his appalling handwriting. As a child, teachers put 'TJ's' bad handwriting down to lack of care about what he was doing. In his early teens, it was discovered 'TJ' was dyslexic.. 'TJ' has served in the armed forces, and worked in the financial, security, and information technology fields, in his long, varied, career. He has also worked for, both large and small concerns, as well as for himself. He has a firm moral belief, and a passion for sustainable technology. He would also like to see an expansion, of the train and other public transport networks, at prices which makes them the cheaper option. He does drive, and has a Mobility car which he would happily give up, if they had adequate public transport. After an accident, 'TJ' was left having to use a wheelchair; he uses a motorised wheelchair which is also adjustable in several ways. Even in the wheelchair, he finds it difficult to remain sitting upright for longer than six hours at a time. After four hours sitting upright 'TJ' often needs a full day to recover; two days in a row being up for four hours or more can, take as much as a week for him to recover. All this means, that 'TJ' has to spend a great deal of time in his fully adjustable bed. So he has taken to writing, website creation, and other things he can do with a computer. When a friend read some of his short stories, he suggested that 'TJ' should write a book. So 'TJ' has developed two ideas beyond the early stages, one in the genre of Science Fiction, the other in the genre of Crime Fiction.
