As the title of the book implies, the poems progress from a negative tone in the beginning to a more positive tone as one progresses through the pages of the book.About the Author: The author has personally struggled through drug addiction, but has been clean for seven years. Throughout his life his faith in Christ has become stronger. His favorite Bible verse is John 3:16; "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not parish, but have everlasting life." The Author's favorite saying is, "Good things come to those who wait." A portion of the proceeds of this book goes to help people with disabilities. In the author's home town of Washington DC, there is an organization called "Dreams for Kids," a 501c3 charity that works with local professional sports teams to put on adaptive sports clinics. Ray Heisler has had the privilege of working with several Grammy Award winning artists in the recording industry, including Erica Vadu, and others. He has released two self-titled CDs.
