The year is 1939, and Monty North is losing count of his problems. There isn't a single magazine in New York that will publish his serials, the rent on his run-down apartment is due and even his brother Carter seems just about ready to give up on him. What they're looking for is a little good luck. What they get is a strange puzzle and an even stranger girl who drags them into a world they didn't believe could be real. Before they know it, Monty and Carter are off on a globe-trotting treasure hunt rife with riddles, thrillrides and those ever-pesky Nazis. But they'll take what they can get; it just might bring them a little closer together.
