The inspiration for this book came from my library. Our library emailed saying they were going to have poetry month for April and if interested to sign-up. Each day they would email out a Read + Write poetry prompt email. I saw this as an opportunity to take the challenge of writing a poem based on the prompt of each day.About the Author: I am a poet, writer and amateur photographer who lives in Ohio with my dog, Chelsey. I have written three other poetry books; "Along a Trodden Path I Travel", "Collection Of Dog Poetry: Poems About Dogs" and "Something Close At The Roots". I plan on writing others in the future. Writing poetry is a great way to express oneself and also a way to get creative. I had started writing poetry when I was young with the help of refrigerator poetry word magnets.
