The Christian's life is a pilgrimage. Through the journey of life, Christians travel through different stages of life. The Christian presses onward towards the goal of eternal life with Christ. The Pilgrim's journey is a poem about a man who sought redemption for his soul. His journey takes him through many challenges and onward to the Redeemer. The restores him and sends him back to the place where he came from to declare to others the message of restoration and life in the Redeemer's name. At the end of the poem, the pilgrim reaches the goal of his journey-eternal life with Christ Jesus. This poem has been written as a play. The purpose of this poem is to encourage Christians to press on in the journey.
