His publications include Aesthetics and Environment: The Appreciation of Nature, Art and Architecture (Routledge, 2000). Arnold Berleant is Professor Emeritus of Philosophy at Long Island University. He is the author of Art and Engagement (Temple University Press, 1991), The Aesthetics of Environment (Temple University Press, 1992) and Living in the Landscape (University Press of Kansas, 1998).
