This story tells of the relationship between a working mother's daughter, and her caretaker, her grandmother Socorro, from the perspective of the child, in a magically positive light. In this story, Lupita tells of some of the daily adventures she has shared with her Abuelita Socorro, starting from the time she was in her mother's womb, and the special bond that they have formed, but now that Lupita has started Kindergarten, will her time with Abuelita Socorro be coming to an end?
