Stephen Arthur Stills, born on January 3rd, 1945, Dallas, Texas, US, is a singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, producer & political activist, best known for his part in Buffalo Springfield and Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young. As both a solo act and member of two successful groups, he's sold over 35 million L.Ps., being ranked # 28 in Rolling Stone magazine's list of The 100 Greatest Guitarists of All Time during 2003 then # 47 in their list of 2011. He became the first artist to be inducted twice on the same night into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, Neil Young having stated, "Stephen is a genius".
