In this second installment of Hood Dreaming, everything Lakai thought was real, turned out to be a big mess. After pouring his heart out to Dream, the future for both of them looked real clear. Or, so they thought. Finding out Marlo and Kylee were the brothers of Dream made him sick to his stomach. Not because he knew a war was coming, but because he's been laying with the enemy this whole time. With Dream so suddenly finding out who Lakai really was, caused her to go crazy. From barging out the house at full speed, getting shot at, to crashing the car sent her brothers in a frenzy. With her and KP now laying in the hospital bed, only one will survive. With everything out on the table, will Dream and Lakai figure out what path they can go down to get back on good terms, or will they let the beef in the streets tear them apart for good? Will Marlo and Kylee honor their sister wishes and let her love Lakai, or will they see to it he never get near her again? You can pour your heart out with a piece of paper and pen, but it's nothing like actually being there and feeling the power of love. Can these two writers come back together or is this the finale?
