Walking Through Pain is a collection of poetry that I wrote over the last 15 years. The true stories in the poems talk about my struggle with trying to find Love in a world full of hate. The Love that I had been searching for was right in the palm of my hands, which was The Word of God. Though it was a process, I go it, I'm walking in it, and will never let it go. The poems I "know" many people can relate to, and if one reads with an open mind, while laying aside shame, the fear of crying, guilt and a willing heart to change. Michael, "one who is like God." Born to Rickey and Diane James in Jackson Mississippi. I was the only biological child to my Mom and Dad for 20 years. During that time the enemy attacked through every crack that he could squeeze through. My name says that I'm one who is like God, so now I know why the enemy ultimately wanted to kill me. He knew that CHAINS would be broken through me, that with the power, wisdom and knowledge of the Holy Spirit, his LIES would be revealed and would no longer be my truth. That I would one day see clearly the road that God had for me. He knew that I would one day except Gods Love over mans. The love that would compel me to make a Choice to Change. The Pain that I Walked Through, I have learned that God allowed. Not because he hated me, but because of the Love that He has for me! In my mind, my pain was horrible. Filled with rejection, death, hate, loneliness, and the list could go on, but no matter how bad of a picture I might paint for you, in no way could it compare to what Gods only Son Jesus endured for me. I know that what the enemy meant for evil, God meant for good. Genesis 50:20 But as for you, you meant evil against me; but God meant it for good, in order to bring it about as it is this day, to save many people alive. My pain God turned into power and has since become my testimony. The fear that was once there has been conquered. The Word of Truth has liberated me to speak openly about it all. Lives has and will be made/set free because of it. I Have No Fear. Revelations 12:11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.
