I AM is a children's book to promote growth mindset. The growth mindset concept teaches all ages to overcome challenges and obstacles that you may be faced with in life with a positive outlook. As a teacher, I witnessed the drastic shift in dynamics in my classroom when instilling a growth mindset. Test scores increased, friendships were strengthened, encouragement of others became a daily habit, and a hunger for success was more present than ever. I AM connects to children's personal experiences and emotions to let them know that the frustrations they feel are valid, that they can do whatever they set their mind to, and that they are valued.
