He received his B.A. from the University of Illinois at Springfield, Masters of Divinity from Christian Theological Seminary and Doctorate of Biblical Studies from Master's International University of Divinity. Kurt and his wife Kassie reside in Southern Illinois and between them, they have four children, two grandchildren, two turtles, a cat, and a hedgehog.
