Reluctant to go on school holidays to his relatives on an aboriginal community in the outback, Andy arrives into a group of distant family he has never met. With Meg's grandfather Wal, the children go on a camping trip, which turns out to be something significantly more than hunting rabbits.While the children are exploring in the bush Wal is kidnapped by a group of desperate Cattle Duffers in an attempt to keep their operation quiet. Stranded, there is nothing for Andy and Meg but to free the old man and alert the authorities of the stolen cattle.
