The poems incorporate mindfulness and meditation, and encourage readers to reflect on their own spiritual path through inspirational poetry writing.About the Author: Sarah Shepherd is a pianist and retired teacher of English as a Second Language (ESL). She grew up in West Newton, MA, and attended Duke University and the University of Minnesota, where she earned a master's degree in ESL. She raised four children in Minneapolis, MN, and now live in Braintree, MA, with her second husband, David. Sarah leads workshops on writing haiku poetry as a form of creative expression.
