In October of 2016 a self-identified "divine spirit" appeared above the head of Lorin Jenis as he sat in meditation. She said her name was Sophia---but a moment later added, "I am the Bodhisattva Tara". She remained with Mr. Jenis for one year, keeping an intellectual journal in which the entries were not private thoughts or events but essays on whatever topic captured her interest that day. This book is a collection of 63 of these essays, chosen from more than 100 in all that Mr. Jenis transcribed. The essays cover a variety of topics, but most are about history, religion, spirituality, and mythology.
