About the Author: After surviving two comas while in the military, I have had a newfound desire to reach for a long passion of mine...writing and story-telling. It was March of 2017 when it all began, and after surviving that and brain surgery, I came up with the idea to write a story about Nicholas before he became Santa Claus. From there the idea-seed was planted and everything snowballed (in a good way) to where I am now. I have been a military brat my entire life and I followed suit. My parents both served in the Navy, so I decided to go the Marine Corps route. I was in for almost 12 years until I had to be medically separated. It was during the last couple years of serving when I began writing. I was about a month from getting out, when a several hundred seizures hit me again and sent me into another coma. From there the military kept me in-service until brain surgery was conducted and I went through the entire recovery and separation process again. That didn't stop me, and I kept my passion going for completing my book FROM NICHOLAS TO CHRISTMAS. Three years later I have finished and more than excited to see this book on the shelves of stores and people's homes. I was born in 1985, but I was re-born in 2017. My outlook in life has completely changed, and am actually happy for the medical incidents that occurred. The cliche goes you never know when your last day will come, so live like you won't have a tomorrow. ...that's how I like to live now.
