A child learns the importance of being kind no matter a person's color, gender, or circumstance. In a dream, the individual becomes many different colors and tries to play with friends. This book was originally written in the 1990s to help Terri's three boys understand kindness. Josh, Matt, and Andrew know we are all the same inside-we all bleed red (Husker red) and need love. Terri now works as a para-educator for children with special needs in a rural Nebraska community.
