When fifteen-year-old Minerva Hirund travels to the isolated Cape Corvyd with her uncle, she's expecting a pleasant break from the hustle and bustle of city life. Not long after their arrival however, she discovers her true nature as a seer, and learns of an ancient curse that threatens the lives of the local townsfolk. As the sins of both the past and present come to light, she is forced into dangerous situations with nothing but her wits and newfound abilities to save her.
