The Twenty-Third of Loneliness is a heartfelt, funny and dramatically engaging story about a family in Miami's black, middle class community. We follow Anita, the vivacious, sassy longtime mail carrier, her husband Cedric, who holds sway over the barbershop where he is the master of telling jokes and cutting heads, and Lamar, the suave divorcee who just moved into a house on Anita's route, and is about to rock everyone's world. This story paints a full canvas and crosses generations, including kids just beginning their lives, and "mature" people who haven't given up on the passions of their youth.
