I was inspired to write this book after being a coach and mentor to mothers since 2006. One morning I was on a train to my eldest son Tray-Sean Ben Salmi's presentation, and I felt a book idea drop into my spirit; the title was: "The Unheard Cries of A Mother"At the time, I also felt compelled to include the voices of other mothers too, so I invited the following mothers to contribute to this book: Franchesca A Pinamang, Nadine Arrey, Sandra Daley, S. Yusoof, Britta Ofori-Kuragu and more.
