The Pocket Players is about a young man and his journey in the world of underground pool playing. D. L. Arber writes about the life of Scooter and his girlfriend Candy, who attempt to make money gambling at the game of pool. The reader follows the two through a series of games and disorderly characters in which Scooter attempts to win each game with his wit, talent and sheer luck.About the Author: D. L. Arber, writer, actor and poet, was born in Illinois and grew up in Colorado, United States of America. He is a 2005 graduate of the University of Northern Colorado in Theatre Arts. Following graduation he worked on stage, both as an actor and a producer, and in television in New York and Los Angeles, before returning to Colorado. In recent years he has been involved in writing short stories, theatrical plays and poetry.
