The management of craniofacial abnormalities and associated malocclusion required well-coordinated, collaborative efforts from several specialists. The impact of growth of craniofacial skeleton on successful treatment cannot be understated. To maximise outcomes and minimize iatrogenic consequences to growth a strong foundational knowledge of craniofacial growth is requirement of any practitioner. Proper sequencing and timing of interventions are used to manipulate growth to either increase or limit it.
